At present the Hartlepool and District U3A has a number of informal and friendly Groups which vary in type and size, covering a wide range of hobbies and subjects. Groups meet on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, depending on the members needs.

New groups may be formed just by two or three members having a common interest.
